Private post-secondary institutions that provide educational services in the State of New Mexico and are subject to either the New Mexico Post-Secondary Educational Institution Act (Section 21-23-1 et seq. NMSA 1978) or the Interstate Distance Education Act (Section 21-23B-1 et seq. NMSA 1978) can use this site to renew their New Mexico State Authorizations, including out-of-State proprietary schools soliciting students in New Mexico to attend their out-of-State proprietary Institutions.
Institutions may renew the following State authorizations:
State Authorization under the term "Registration" for regionally accredited institutions with physical presence in New Mexico State Authorization under the term "License" for nationally and programatic accredited institutions with physical presence in New MexicoState Authorization under the term "License" for non-accredited institutions with physical presence in New MexicoState Authorization under the term "Distance Education" for institutions that are not NC-SARA approvedState Authorization under the term "Out-of-State proprietary schools" with active agents in New Mexico that recruit NM studentsNew Mexico State Authorization Renewal
